Yes. On a white or light façade it's striking even on a street with lamps. The darker the spot, the more dramatic the stars look.

About 6–12 m (20–40 ft) away is the sweet spot. Move it back for a bigger area, or closer for brighter, denser stars. Tilt the head until the stars cover the whole façade.

Not when it's set up right. Point it at your own façade, slightly downward, so the light lands on your house and not on the street.

Feels much better made than I expected
Posting a couple close up photos because I couldn't really tell what the quality would be like from the website. The LX Pro is actually very solid in person. Nothing feels flimsy and the base has a decent weight to it.The remote looked a little confusing when I first opened it but after playing with it for a minute it's pretty straightforward. I can change the colors, movement and timer without touching the projector. That's a big plus because once it's outside I really don't want to be going back and forth every time I want to change something.So far I'm impressed. It feels like something we'll be pulling out every Christmas rather than using once and throwing in a drawer. -
The kids are completely obsessed with this
We bought the LX Pro mostly for the house but tried pointing it at the big tree in our front yard and WOW. I genuinely wasn't expecting one little projector to light up something this big. The lights reach all the way through the branches and you can see them from the street without it looking tacky or too much. But the best part has been the kids. They call it our “magic tree” and literally run to the window every night when it comes on. Last year my husband spent hours wrapping lights around this tree and I don't think we're ever doing that again lol.
We've had cheaper projectors before and they were nowhere near this bright. If you have a big yard or trees and you're wondering if the LX Pro is powerful enough, I can definitely recommend it. The photo honestly doesn't do it justice. -
Best one I've tried, and I've tried a few. We used these all through Christmas last year and I honestly can't wait to put them back out again this year. I've owned a few different Christmas projectors over the years and the LX Pro is easily the best one I've tried. The lights are incredibly bright and powerful and the colors really stand out at night.
